This drawing was playfully inspired by the famous duct-taped banana, a conceptual art piece by Maurizio Cattelan titled “Comedian”, which was sold at auction for $6.2 million and then eaten by the collector. Contemplating the idea of value, my brain jumped through some hoops and landed on a question “How much would you pay to feast on the word of God?” Just as our bodies need to be nourished by food, we need spiritual nourishment from the living word (Matthew 4:4). So, are you hungry?

This drawing was inspired by our Father, the Author of Life (Acts 3:15) who writes every story with perfect love, care, and creativity. Remembering the hours I spent in my childhood devouring books in quiet corners of my public library, led me to imagine how incredible it would be if Heaven too had a vast library. A library filled with millions of books holding stories of every person’s life and testimony - tales of love, adventure, and redemption, all written by God. What a beautiful glimpse into His heart that would be!
